Hello, Showbiz Extra viewers, it’s a pleasure. It’s been too long! I’m Song Yoon-a. Thank you for coming to the set of<On-Air>.
he TV drama "On-Air" boasts an A-list cast: Song Yoon-a, Kim Ha-neul, Park Yong-ha, and Lee Beom-soo. It's about life in the world of broadcasting and Song delights fans with a role that's unlike any other character she's played before.
About your <On-Air> character?
“Seo Young-eun”, She writes TV dramas. A total pro at her job, but completely clueless about everything else. If someone picks a fight, she fights back. If someone ignores her, she ignores them. So I guess she has all these nicknames now…Like “cho-ding Young-eun”. That means elementary school student, right?
Song Yoon-a's character is quite endearing despite her many flaws - and naive, at times, too, like her sheer childlike joy at high TV ratings! "Seo Young-eun" is a silly character and Song plays it with unbridled talent. The public just can't get enough!
About fans and their growing love for <On-Air>…“Young-eun” is like a 7-year old, so when she first came on the show, she was two. Five years ago, her son was five years old. So the son’s older than the mother? Fans leave notes like that on our websit. They’re fun!
Song Yoon-a has been in a wide variety of movies, TV dramas, and countless commercials or ads. She's one of those actresses with a million and one faces - adaptable to any role! We weren't surprised that she could play such a fantastically bizarre character on "On-Air!"
How difficult was the over-exaggerated acting?
In the first two episodes, we had to establish the ‘Young-eun’ character and I was warried that she was too much, but our director said the “over-exaggeration” was necessary, so that’s what I did. Just like I’d thought, the public didn’t respond well to her after those epicodes! Our drama team said we had to show everyone that was who “Young-eun” was. After a while, everyone accepted the fact that she was like that and I comfort myself by realizing we were successful in doing that.
The actress wasn't ashamed to admit that after she met this new character, this writer named "Seo Young-eun," she began to respect and envy her! She loved her new role and told us that playing "Seo Young-eun" helped her release stress!
Anecdotes from <On-Air>?
In one episode, I asked about ratings for a drama I wrote. I say, “what’s the percent?”. For a week after that, in real life, people were greeting me with “What’s the percent?”. It was so weird! I went to film a TV show, <Chocolate>, and a crew member there asked me, “What’s the percent?”. It was funny.
In 1998, Song Yoon-a played the evil antagonist that was too pretty and too talented to hate on "Mr. Q." Ever since, she's managed to bring the public an array of characters and her undeniable flair for acting has brought her "top star" status.
On your popularity after <On-Air> success…
Whatever the outcome, you give your best for every production, and it’s a gift if you for every production, and it’s a gift if you get high ratings plus the love from viewers! Theres no better gift, I’m thrilled!
"On-Air" constantly has special cameo appearances by Korean stars and we heard that this wasn't just the charge of the crew or writers - Even the actors made casting calls!
Did you make any casting calls?I’m sorry to say, I didn’t actually bring it up. Shin Dong-wook is in the same agency as me and if you’re told to get someone, you do it! I guess our script-writer trusted that I could get Dong-wook on our show, so she didn't even ask beforehand. His name was just in the script! Our director said, “No problem, right?”. That’s what happened.
After her debut in 1995, the actress has been in countless productions, but besides her acting, she's also in charge of an important annual position.
For more than half a decade, Song and Ahn Sung-ki have been hosts for the Korea Film Awards.

About you O.S.T. experience for <On-Air>?
There are two songs for a female vocalist. Park Yong-ha asked me to sing one of them. I refused a couple times, then I thought if I kept saying no, it would seem like I was expecting something in return, so…What if he thought I wanted money in return! I didn’t want any misunderstandings, so I reluctantly agreed to sing.
To your fans…
It’s the unwavering love of my fans, your continuing support, acceptance and love, which has given me the strength to perform no matter how difficult things get for me. Actually, a lot of my fans adore <On-Air> and they’re enthusiastic about my role in it. I feel that a lot these days. It helped me remember that if I do well, it’s a great source of strength for my fans, too.
Song Yoon-a uncovered a dimension to her own personality with the help of a character she's never played before. With that kind of epiphany, it's no wonder that she digested her role so well! We can't wait to see where she takes her talents next.

以往看到这样长篇的韩闻，我是又欣喜又愁苦。
欣喜的是，这样的篇幅肯定有一定的内容；愁苦的是，它不亚于天文，只能看着干着急。
这次很奇怪。FM居然还没有任何资源外流。
今天还跟Veeko说，很喜欢朴小孩的着装，很有FEEL。

宋允儿18日下午2点作为嘉宾出现在于首尔中区文化日报厅举办的朴容夏Fan meeting上. 为了祝贺朴容夏举办Fan meeting,宋允儿拿着花束登上了舞台.穿着蓝色窄脚裤和象牙色的衬衣,散发出特有的韵味.
宋允儿吐露说,’’这是第一次出现在其他演员的Fan meeting上,朴容夏在日本很有人气,作为演员现在又通过’On air’在韩国确立了地位,我为他感到很高兴.’’

这部作品不仅让观众重新认识允儿，也令允儿自己找到更多创作的热情，当然也因此认识了很多朋友。
很久没有这么清楚地了解允儿文字中所表达的感情，谢谢Veeko。也谢谢所有辛苦翻译、搜集资料的朋友。
